The Índice de Precios al Consumidor (IPC) is a statistical indicator that measures the variation in the prices of groceries and services representative of the consumption of Costa Rican households, in a given period of time. This indicator is a source of information to estimate inflation, update monetary policy and, in general, for the economic planning of the country. It is also used in salary adjustments, readjustment of rental contracts, calculation of rate models, to estimate the change in purchasing power, among others.

The Encuesta Nacional de Uso del Tiempo (ENUT), provides statistical inputs necessary to make visible all forms of work of people, both outside and inside the home, whether they are paid or not. The data presented and the information that can be obtained through the development of indicators make it possible to monitor the gaps in the use of time by women and men in the different daily tasks, whether in the areas of work, community and family life.

The Encuesta Nacional sobre Discapacidad (ENADIS) is the statistical operation in the country, which measures the prevalence and characteristics of disability for the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, and private actions that promote autonomy and the exercise of the rights of people with disabilities.

The Encuesta Nacional de Hogares (ENAHO) is a data collection program whose focus is associated with the level of well-being of the population, especially focused on the composition of household income, its distribution and characteristics of households and the population living in poverty. It also includes the study of housing ownership and its characteristics, people's access to education and social security, as well as the population that works and the conditions of these jobs, among others.

It is made up of integrated modules or business applications that talk to each other and share a common database. Some modules finance, accounting, human resources, sales, purchases, budgets, cash flows, warehouse, orders, inventories and others.
