Hello and welcome to another addition of Con Brio Online (The Latest News for the City of Burnie Brass Band). As usual this page endeavours to keep you up to date with the latest goings on with the band, so be sure to check it out now and again to make sure you are up to date. In addition Band Members should check out the White boards in the band room for upcoming playouts and events.

The Annual Christmas Stocking raffle is on for 2010. Band members should have all their raffle tickets sold with books and the money to Treasurer Jenny Watts by Thursday December 16. In the mean time if you the public are in the centre of Burnie and come across any of our friendly volunteer sellers seated with the stocking, why not buy some tickets your self for a chance at winning a giant stocking load of toys and other goodies. All money raised will go towards the band to help with our ongoing expenses and to help keep us in a sound financial position.

15/12/2010	The band wishes to express its condolences to all the friends and family of the late Russell Jarvis who passed away several days ago now. Most of us were certainly familiar with Russell as he was the proprietor of the Stage Door Cafe in Upper Burnie and an unforgettable presence in various Burnie Musical Society productions.
	Our last practice for the year will be held on the evening of Thursday December 16. The Christmas Stocking raffle shall be drawn and there will be a supper held afterwards in the band room. All players are reminded to each supply a plate of food for the supper.
