Hello and welcome to another addition of Con Brio
Online (The Latest News
for the City of Burnie Brass Band). As usual
this page endeavours to keep you up to date with the
latest goings on with the band, so be sure to check it
out now and again to make sure you are up to date. In
addition Band Members should check out the White boards
in the band room for upcoming playouts and events. |
The band has started this year with a flurry of
activity. We resumed practice on January 18 and were
required to play at a Queensland Flood Victim Charity
Concert on January 22 and the Australia Day Service on
January 26 (both at the Burnie Arts and Function
Centre). We are now practicing music for the Easter
National Band Championships which get under way in
Adelaide on April 22. More information about the
championships and other things will be coming soon.
