Congratulations to
the Latrobe Federal Band on winning
the 'Test Piece' section, 'Own
Choice' section and 'Overall Aggrigate points' in the C-Grade
section of the 20l6 Tasmanian State
Band Championships just held at
Launceston. The Burnie Band was not
without some success though; taking
out the 'Drill & C.O.D' section of
the Street March and coming equal
1st with Latrobe for over all
Marching Aggrigate points. A summary
of the C-Grade Points are shown
below in the table.

be eligible to play in the
Junior Band,
you must be nineteen
years old or younger
at the time of the contest
in April 2017.

Potential
New
'Junior Band' members wishing to
join the band in time for the
National Championships, must
submit an
application form
by Friday September 30th, 2016.
