On Tuesday October 16th the Development Band resumes for Term 4. The Seniour Band Practice time changes to 7:30PM - 9:30PM. We also propose to have Marching practices for both the Senior and Development Bands on the 6th, 13th and 20th of November at the beginning of those Tuesday night practices.
The Band wishes to pay tribute to Margaret Scolyer who passed away recently. Margaret was married to the late Frank Scolyer who was a significant figure in the history of our band (see Frank Scolyer Trophy page).  Margaret provided not only great support to Frank, but to the band itself over many years.

(below right) you will see a table of results from the 2018 State Band Championships that were just held in Glenorchy at the Bosco Creative Arts Centre. As you can see we put in a solid effort. We congratualate the Ulverstone Municipal Band on winning both the Test Piece and Overall Aggregate Totals in our C-Grade devision.

The Annual General Meeting was held on the evening of Tuesday September 11th, 2018 at the time of 8:00PM in the CBBB band room. As usual, office bearers were appointed to their various positions. The most significant change being the appointment of Ken Cropper as our new President after former president Andrew Bentley decided to step down from the role. Various reports were presented from current office bearers including written reports from both the Secretary and the Treasurer. You will see the Secrataries report at the bottom of the page.
